Magic City Casino Reveals 2011-2012 Concert Series Lineup

A little known fact about Crossfade is that we're degenerate gamblers.

We've been dropping mad bills on Magic City Casino's maquinitas ever since the joint introduced Vegas-style slots. But aside from free parking and a few comped dinners, we haven't won shit.

Really, though, who cares? Win or lose, Magic City Casino rocks. Better yet, it classic rocks. And yesterday, Miami's favorite pari-mutuel announced its 2011-2012 concert series lineup.

Styx, Air Supply, REO Speedwagon -- they're all gonna rock the shit out of the MCC Amphitheater, while Jon Secada melts your heart with his sweet catalogue of tender, adult contemporary slow jams in his lounge.

"We are very happy with the quality of the artists we will be presenting this season and expect some show-stopping performances," says Scott Savin, Magic City's Chief Operating Officer. "This is sure to be an exciting showcase of many of America's best-loved bands and their sing-along classics."

The concert series officially kicks off with "Bad to the Bone" blues rocker George Thorogood and the Destroyers on November 26, and salsero Willy Chirino rounds out the season on May 19.
