The Techno Loft at Space has very quickly become Miami’s premier venue for the slickest big-room international techno. This Saturday brings Minus label legends Magda and Troy Pierce, two of the top emissaries of the Detroit-by-way-of-Berlin minimal sound.
Detroit native and current Berlin resident Magda is one of the most highly regarded DJ/producers on the international techno circuit, and arguably the female counterpart to minimal king Richie Hawtin. The latter signed Magda to his label in the early ’00s, and the two regularly share headlining bills. Midwesterner Troy Pierce originally hooked up with Magda at the 2001 Detroit Music Festival before eventually also relocating to Berlin, where he has made his mark and gained a massive following through sheer production genius. This has included solo projects as well as work with vocalist Gibby Miller for their acclaimed gothic techno side project, Louderbach. Don’t miss out on this world-class techno booking in Miami.
