Latin Funk Music Festival

Trying to get out of a bland funk? From the land of chimichurri, mojo, and mole comes the flavorful second annual Latin Funk Music Festival, which should get your chops drooling and your cola wagging. Take a hit of Grammy-nominated Afro-Cuban soul group Yerba Buena, and let Suenalo wash it all down your Sound System. Pacha, DJ Leche, DJ Sabo, and Nil Lara, will also shake your peso maker with experimental hip-hop, reggae, samba, electronica, and meringue, while Inkhead bombers Rage Johnson and Ease will decorate the surroundings with live painting.

KEEP MIAMI NEW TIMES FREE... Since we started Miami New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Miami, and we'd like to keep it that way. With local media under siege, it's more important than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" program, allowing us to keep offering readers access to our incisive coverage of local news, food and culture with no paywalls.
