Have you heard the officially leaked trio of chilly-hot tracks (“Ambulances,” “White Elephants,” and “Ace of Hz”) off Ladytron‘s impending fifth album, Gravity the Seducer?
If not, this is the kind of dense and brooding indie-dance stuff that’ll throw you into cold sweats. Like a pretty, paranoid dream on a 100-degree night, “Ambulances” shimmers and twitches while “White Elephant” soundtracks some nocturnal trance and “Ace of Hz” struts through glittering backalleys.
It’s a glam, shoegaze-y miniset perfect for a druggy private party. Or, if you’re heavy into public scenes, flailing around Grand Central‘s packed dancefloor on October 15.
