Last week, Kali Uchis released her fifth album, Sincerely. Earlier today, the Grammy-winning multigenre pop/R&B/urbano/hip-hop star announced a North American tour of the same name.

The awkwardly punctuated Sincerely, Tour commences August 14 in Portland, Oregon, and will touch down at the Kaseya Center in Miami on Friday, September 5. Uchis will perform at Orlando's Kia Center the night prior.

Not surprisingly, Uchis has been a consistent draw in Miami for years. Back in 2017, she made her III Points debut despite being under the weather.

"Uchis came straight out with the disclaimer early in the set,"  wrote Celia Almeida, who was present for Uchis' 10:45 p.m. set that night. "'I have to apologize; I'm really sick,' she warned.... Still, the Uchis diehards stuck it out as she powered through her set of sleeper hits like her latest, 'Tyrant.' They sang along and filled the spaces Uchis's voice could no longer occupy. 'I kid you not, like 30 minutes ago I could not speak,' she told the crowd. Her speaking voice was weak, but remarkably, she hit the notes when she sang."

In 2018, on the heels of her first album, Isolation, she played a sold-out show at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale. In 2022, she brought her sultry, Spanglish-inflected R&B to what we now call the Kaseya Center to open for her collab partner Tyler, the Creator.

And a year later, her headlining set brought the house down.

"Donning an all-white corseted ensemble and fresh babydoll makeup, Kali Uchis looked and sounded angelic as she took the stage at the FPL Solar Amphitheater at Bayfront Park on Sunday," a New Times contributor wrote in a May 1, 2023, post. "As the Colombian-American musician performed to a sold-out crowd, fans sang along to the lyrics that have come to define Uchis' career."
