July 4th IndepenDANCE Pool and Beach Party at the Surfcomber with Armin Van Buuren and Sander Kleinenberg

Fourth of July has become synonymous for many a South Beach club rat with the annual IndepenDANCE Pool and Beach Party at the Surfcomber Hotel. Now on its 6th installment, IndepenDANCE has showcased a variety of local and international DJ favorites in the past, including Space regular Victor Calderone and the legendary Danny Tenaglia.

This year the party's organizers have decidedly raised the bar a notch by booking Armin Van Buuren and Sander Kleinenberg, two international megastars of dance music and annual staples of the Winter Music Conference in Miami. With its swank beach resort setting, colorful cast of partygoers, and sultry soundtrack, you could do a lot worse than hitting up the IndepenDANCE party for 4th of July.

Trance DJ/producer Armin Van Buuren is the Netherland's biggest DJ export, having been voted number one on DJ Magazine's annual top 100 list for the last three consecutive years. Around 30 million people tune in to Van Buuren's "A State of Trance" radio show each week, and the celebrated DJ commands dancefloors worldwide, from club Amnesia in Ibiza to Ministry of Sound in London.

Fellow Dutchman Sander Kleinenberg first came to international prominence in the mid-2000s for his catchy big-room releases, including the infectious electro-house banger "This is Miami" which reached a number one position in the ARIA chart. He is also recognized for his innovative approach to multimedia live performance, which involves video jockeying and self-created visuals. Armin Van Buuren and Sander Kleinenberg will be throwing down at the Surfcomber Hotel pool this 4th of July with a whole slew of local DJs spinning in support.
