What's the last time you spent money to go see a band you've never heard of before? Never, right? Well, you're not alone.
Today, the money in the music industry's in concerts and touring. Still, most people won't spend their hard earned cash on a ticket unless they're big fans of the headliner.
Instead of getting acquainted with an act at a venue, we'd rather familiarize ourselves with an artist's work on Spotify, Soundcloud, or iTunes, before committing to a $35 ticket.
Jukley is a new app that lets you attend an unlimited number of live shows, for a flat $25 monthly fee. And it just launched in Miami.

We at New Times spoke to its founder and CEO, Bora Celik, to get the scoop on how his new app plans to change the way promoters, managers, and venue owners have traditionally monetized their concerts.
"What we're trying to do is make music social again," Celik says. "Our culture is very artist driven, and artist development is our personal drive."
The Jukely team makes a point to highlight undiscovered local talent, as well as the industry's heavy hitters.
By streamlining the ticket buying process, Celik plans to make concerts as profitable as live sporting events.
"Arena sports are a $100 billion a year industry, while live music is only around $28 billion," the founder points out. "We think there's a greater potential there."
Over the past year he and his team have courted local venue owners to ensure a well rounded catalog of events. "We've established relationships with Bardot, III Points, and Treehouse, among others," Celik says.
But Jukely isn't only about hooking you up with shows in your own town. When you register for the app, you'll also be able to attend concerts in other cities with the same plan.
"We want it to also be about destinations," the CEO explains. "When you land in a new city, the first thing we want people to do is check their app to see what's happening that night."
