Keep Miami New Times Free
We’re aiming to raise $7,500 by April 26. Your support ensures New Times can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
A last minute heads up to the house music fiends: Jazzy Eyewear, Miami’s best kept secret and pretty much our most talented local proponent of classic Chicago-style funky house will be spinning at the Electric Pickle tonight. Fabian Giannattasio a.k.a. Jazzy Eyewear is an Argentinian transplant who migrated to the house birthplace of Chicago in the ’90s before settling in Miami Beach, where he runs his So Sound label. His rich analog dance cuts, infused with plenty of funk, soul, and catchy jazzy samples have been praised by the likes of Mark Farina and released on top international labels, including Defected, EMI, and Hed Kandi. So if unrepentant weeknight carousal is your thing, head over to the Pickle tonight for Jazzy Eyewear, along with local DJ Leeor on decks.
Jazzy Eyewear at Electric Pickle, Tuesday, August 11, 10 p.m.-5 a.m. 2826 N Miami Ave., Miami.
