Jay-Z and Kanye Announce The Throne Tour Stop in Miami November 15

There's no doubt that Jay-Z -- even as hip-hop's retired-unretired elder statesman -- still balls like the best of 'em. Just last night Hova was makin' it rain at the Fountainebleau's LIV in Miami Beach, dropping more $100,000 on a single bottle of champagne in celebration of the release of his new record with Kanye West, Watch The Throne.

Now, Crossfade has been a little skeptical of this collaboration. First, we weren't too keen on the lead single, "Otis," and how it traded soul for swag. Next, we insisted that the video for "Otis" totally sucks. But you know what? We're still willing to give these clowns a chance when they ball it up at the American Airlines Arena November 15.

Are these jabronis seriously asking people refer to them as "The Throne?" We expect this kind of P. Diddery from Kanye. But really, Jay?

Clearly, though, we are alone in our impatience since Watch the Throne broke the US iTunes one-week sales record by selling nearly 300,000 downloads from August 8 through 14.
