Jamie Lidell

Genre-bending musician Jamie Lidell will be stopping by Heathrow Lounge, a new UK-inspired club on South Beach, July 18. Who else could be behind this booking except the people from Poplife, which will be celebrating 9 years of bringing indie music to the masses that very weekend.

The English musician is known for his soulful performance, which is layered with live instrumentation and the occasional synthetic beat. The best thing about Lidell is that he’ll keep you guessing by not staying faithful to one genre. Whether it’s jazz, R&B, soul or disco, he gives it a refreshingly modern twist.

Tickets are available for $15 at epoplife.com. The show is 21+ (sorry kiddies) and will also feature post-concert sets by DJs Induce, Ruen and Midas.
