Jam Cruise 2012 Doles Out Umphrey's McGee and 38 Other Doses of Trippy Tuneage

On January 4, 2011, the ninth annual Jam Cruise got totally sunk in a sea of negative vibes when federal agents and K-9 officers from ICE, the U.S. Marshals Service, the DEA, and the Broward Sheriff's Office conducted a joint drug raid as hippies, herbal enthusiasts, and jam-band junkies boarded the MSC Poesia at Port Everglades.

Ultimately, the feds arrested 15 cruisers for possession of marijuana, LSD, mushrooms, hash oil, Ecstasy, prescription drugs, and drug paraphernalia.

But why dwell on drug busts and major bummers? That's in the past, man. And eight months from now, we'll be back on those high seas, riding kaleidoscopic waves of grooviness and giggling like human laughboxes as Jam Cruise doles out doses of trippy tuneage by Umphrey McGee and 38 others.

See the cut for the full Jam Cruise 2012 lineup, dates, and ticket details.
