It's the year 2000, a strange Y2K bug hits, and bam -- you're gay! Or maybe you were born that way. In either case Sunday is a big party night. Amnesia (136 Collins Ave, Miami Beach) hosts Y2 Tea, another in a line of infamous early-evening soirees featuring DJs David Knapp and RA. The party starts at 6:00 p.m.and rolls till 5:00 a.m. Advance tickets cost $30 and are available at Whittall & Shon. Call 305-531-5535 for more information. If you've been waiting for a chance to check out the newly opened Crobar (1445 Washington Ave, Miami Beach), Sunday is the Genesis -- A New Beginning party. The bash benefits Dade Human Rights Foundation, which is a support organization for greater Miami's gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community. On New Year's Day you'll probably feel a little groggy. So the best thing to do is bite the dog that bit you. The best place for that is Groove Jet (323 23rd St, Miami Beach).
