The Great Escape was planned. Then postponed. And now canceled.

After a breakout 2014, with the release of her debut full-length album, The New Classic, and monster summer hit “Fancy,” Iggy Azalea announced her first solo headlining tour, dubbed The Great Escape. It was set for 24 North American cities in 47 days through April and May 2015. As advertised, the Aussie rapper's “swagger was on super."

A few months ago, though, Azalea revealed the tour was being postponed "due to tour production delays.” Of course, she had also just had a celeb breakdown, lashing out at her haters and swearing off social media.

So it’s honestly no surprise that The Great Escape is getting canceled now. Especially considering Iggy’s fresh engagement to longtime boyfriend, Nick Young, the NBA player and sometimes rapper known as Swaggy P.

"As u may know, the tour is cancelled,” Azalea tweeted the other day. (Yes, she’s back on Twitter.) "I'm so sad and sorry to let my fans down...we'll be back out on the road when the next album is done."
