It’s virtually impossible to have avoided the buzz surrounding two of Miami’s best female-fronted acts: Afrobeta and Steph Taylor and the State Of. Here’s a good opportunity to catch them for free in a cozy (and smoke-free!) environment. Both bands play an in-store at Sweat Records this Saturday, starting at 8:30 p.m. Admission is $5, and considering the acts’ popularity, arrive early for prime standing room. Oh, and buy at least a snack or something at Sweat.
