"Live fast, die young, and look good in your grave" is Mickey Avalon's motto.
He's got that brash, absurd, and sleezy L.A. white rapper style that attracts a party crowd serious about their trucker hats and lipstick-stained, cut-all-up tank tops.
Avalon was originally discovered by former MTV VJ Simon Rex who fostered his success, helped him build a West Coast fanbase, and even occasionally performs with him. His self-titled solo debut dropped in 2006. And since, he's made a name for himself in the industry.
Hell, he even has a cameo by hotel heiress Paris Hilton in his "Mr. Right" video, a sure sign of success.

Raised by an Orthodox Jewish drug dealer mom and a heroin addict dad, he also spent time tricking and using drugs. And with that kind of rough and troubled youth, Avalon didn't need to dig too deep for the raunchy and controversial material that'd feed his future lyrics.
Ke$ha once opened for Avalon. But now that she's the big sleeze on campus, they recorded a track called "Stickey Mickey" together. Even with songs like "My Dick," Avalon is a dad, who seems like a stand-up dude in interviews, just trying to have a good time and do his thing.
