Fox’s Shuffle Tuesdays has long been provided a cool weeknight hangout spot for good tunes and cheap drinks southwest of I-95. Last month, though, came a special edition that gave the people what they really want — a night devoted entirely to the music of the Smiths!
Okay, by “people,” that means, “people with taste like us,” but hey, there are a lot of us bookish Morrissey nerds out there, and apparently enough to sustain a monthly repeat of the party. Tonight marks yet another edition of A Night of the Smiths, which, okay, allows a little musical flexibility and may possibly include some music by other mope-worthy artists.
Drowning your sorrows in alcohol is cheap, too, as drinks are two for one all night (and that’s late-night), and shots are $3, starting at 11 p.m. Of course you can also be even cheaper by doing like the cool kids at this place, and brown bagging it in the parking lot.
