House music heads are always talking about the rare timeless quality of certain records. You know, tracks that stand the test of time and still sound as fresh today as they did twenty years ago. Only one in a handful of releases ever delivers that quality, especially in this age of fast-paced digital production and distribution.

Perhaps it’s a testament to his impeccable taste and A&R vision that UK DJ-producer Jimpster’s Freerange label boasts a catalog of wall-to-wall quality cuts. What’s more, Freerange has been going strong for almost two decades now. That’s a lot of awesomeness for one label.

And it’s no surprise, with beloved producers like Manuel Tur, Mic Newman, Tony Lionni, and Jimpster himself onboard. It’s a roster with a collective penchant for exquisitely soulful, jacking neo-classic house. And Freerange wax can be found in the bag of almost any discerning house DJ on the international scene today.

With Jimpster throwing down at Electric Pickle on Thursday, Crossfade went digging into the Freerange catalog for some of the bombs we’re most dying to hear.

1. Jimpster’s “Change in You”

2. Manuel Tur feat. Holly Backler’s “Most Of This Moment”
