Five Best Concerts in Miami This Week

Close your eyes, now open them.

Just like that, the weekend has come to an end, and now, it's back to the Monday morning grind. But with gigs from Bruce Springsteen AKA the Boss, indie rockers Vampire Weekend, and pop queen Lady Gaga to look forward to, Friday will get here in the blink of an eye.

Here are the five best concerts going down in South Florida this week.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Tuesday, April 29, 7:30 p.m. BB&T Center, 1 Panther Pkwy., Sunrise; 954-835-8000; thebbtcenter.com. Tickets cost $63-$141.72 plus fees via ticketmaster.com. After over five decades of rockin' blues, Bruce Springsteen is still living his "Glory Days." Watch the Boss take over the BB&T Center in High Hopes for his first South Florida show in five years.

Vampire Weekend. With the Jacuzzi Boys. Wednesday, April 30, and Thursday, May 1, 8 p.m. The Fillmore Miami Beach, 1700 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 305-673-7300; fillmoremb.com. Hang out with the Modern Vampires of the City and "Step" into their world of all things "punk, new wave, [and] classical."

SunFest. With Kid Rock, Ellie Goulding, Robin Thicke, Pretty Lights, Goo Goo Dolls, Young the Giant, J. Cole, Alice In Chains, Sublime with Rome, Daughtry, Doobie Brothers, Austin Mahone, Dropkick Murphys, Cake, and others. Thursday, April 30, 5 p.m. to Sunday, May 4. With four days of non-stop music from Robin Thicke, Pretty Lights, Ellie Goulding, and some of the biggest names in the biz, you might as well bring your bikini and make a weekend getaway out of your trip to West Palm Beach.
