Fans of 2003’s A Bugged Out Mix and his selections of key Ladytron and Metro Area tracks will be sorely disappointed; here he favors cuts by mainroom producers such as Armand Van Helden and Kaskade. Though eventually weighed down by too many rote instrumentals, it sounds funky and sincere instead of trendy and superficially glamorous.
