Ex-Bar Employees Open Mamushka's in Wynwood This Friday Night

Still reeling from the loss of Bar? Do you find yourself wandering aimlessly around NE 14th Street all weekend, wishing there was a hip place with cheap drinks and no cover?

While OHWOW's promise to reopen Bar seems to be dwindling, we found out last week that several ex-employees were gearing up to open a new nightlife spot called Mamushka's (31 NW 36th Street, Miami) in Wynwood. It's scheduled to open this Friday night with DJ Benton behind the decks.

The press release says the bar is here "to fill the void and bridge four communities which despite their proximity are vastly different. Wynwood, the design

district, midtown and the hood that surrounds them all. Mamushka's

welcomes any and all comers. So rock your tribal feathers whatever

colors they may be!"

There are also promises of $3 PBRs and $6 cocktails. Also, there is never a cover and no bottle service.

Our source also told us that much like Bar, Mamushka's will feature a pool table and outdoor area. Safe to assume that live music will be a big part of the space too.

So c'mon, stop wandering around 14th Street 'cause it seems like your wishes for hipness have been answered.
