The Electric Zoo festival, which launched just last year, is New York City's somewhat latecoming answer to Detroit's Movement Electronic Music Festival and Miami's own Ultra -- better late than never, right? 2009's successful inaugural event at Randall's Island Park in Manhattan summoned over 26,000 concertgoers and 50 international acts performing on 4 stages.
The 2010 edition of Electric Zoo is slated for Labor Day weekend again and organizers have just announced the final lineup, an impressive eclectic roster of artists ranging from high-profile commercial names and old school heavyweights like Paul Van Dyk, Moby, and The Chemical Brothers, to decidedly more underground players like Dixon, Bassnectar, and Adultnapper. 2-day general admission passes are still available now, but prices go up at midnight on Thursday, July 8, so if you're planning on heading up to the Big Apple for this one, hurry and get yours now!
