The reputation of UK DJLee Burridge
spans the entire globe, from Hong Kong and Thailand's local EDM scenes, which he helped foster throughout the '90s, to the Burning Man Festival in Nevada, which inspired his free-spirited Get Weird parties.
Boasting a genre-bending amalgamation of styles, from progressive house and deep techno to breaks, his sets are energetic and colorful one-of-a-kind experiences which continue to earn him obsessive fans worldwide.
Burridge is certainly no stranger to Miami, where he plays several times a year, even outside of WMC and Miami Music Week. But if you still haven't had the Lee Burridge experince, you can catch him at two different parties this weekend, if not more. (He's infamous for his marathon sets at secret afterhours locations.)
His first appearance will take place Saturday at the Spirit of Sound Gathering at Soho Studios in the Design District, a multimedia arts extravganza showcasing dozens of local DJs and performers, along with live visuals, art displays, laser lights shows, and fire performances. With its ritualistic and free-spirited Burning Man vibe, Burridge should fit in nicely.
Then on Sunday, you can catch Burridge as part of an all-day marathon at Eve, where he'll be joined by local favorites like Baez, Dsan Powell, and Mario Maroto.
