Perhaps it was the uncertainty looming around the 2011-2012 NBA season. Or maybe he just needed some extra cash for designer dress shirts. Whatever the case, the Miami Heat's resident disc jockey, DJ Irie, figured that becoming BankAtlantic's Brand Ambassador was a good career move.

Little did he know he'd literally be spinning records inside BankAtlantic branches and spending New Year's Eve with contest winners.

Yesterday afternoon, Crossfade got word of the "Ultimate New Year's Eve Party with DJ Irie" when "Florida's most convenient bank" sent out a press release and the saddest publicity photo we've ever seen.

Keep reading to find out how to win a pair of VIP tickets to the Orange Drive Miami Beach Music Festival. Oh, and DJ Irie's deeply depressing BankAtlantic pic.

That's DJ Irie on the ones and twos inside a BankAtlantic branch, obviously hating every minute of this contractual agreement and daydreaming about soundtracking Miami Heat home games. Surrounded by a few balloons and Spanish-language commercial loan posters, it's obvious that dropping Top 40 hits inside a bank doesn't match leading sold-out crowds in "Let's Go Heat" chants.

Nevertheless, Irie totally looks like the type of dude who we'd want to spend New Year's Eve with. And as luck would have it, his BankAtlantic Brand Ambassador deal includes a contest that'll reward two lucky winners with backstage meet-and-greet passes to the Orange Drive fest on December 31.

The "Ultimate New Year's Eve Party with DJ Irie" contest is open to anyone 21 years or older. One grand-prize winner will score two VIP tickets and the chance to kick it with the NBA DJ. Second and third place winners will also receive complimentary tickets to the festival, VIP and general admission respectively.

Headliners for the three-day Orange Drive Miami Beach Music Festival include Cee Lo Green, Boys II Men, Jermaine Dupri, and Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz alongside Ne-Yo, and Samantha Ronson.
