Support the independent voice of Miami and help keep the future of New Times free.

By all accounts the Aquabooty 10th Anniversary party at Electric Pickle

on Friday night was an epic good time. For those of you who missed out

or didn't get enough of those sultry deep house sounds and are still

aching for more, Aqua-booty NY's DJ Greg Cuoco (part of Friday's

lineup) will be spinning at the weekly Retox party at Blue this

Wednesday night.

An NYC scene veteran with roots in '80s college radio,

Cuoco's weekly "House Nation" party pulled in countless guest

DJs from around the globe in the '90s, while he shared residencies with the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Tony

and Tedd Patterson. Aqua-booty eventually

expanded to London and Miami, while the brand grew to include a record imprint for which Cuoco is currently producing some original releases. Get your extra dose of

Greg Cuoco's energetic and soulful house at Blue this

Wednesday, where he'll be spinning along with Retox residents Inbal and

Baby Sean.

Greg Cuoco at Blue. Wednesday, Ocotober 7, 10 p.m. - 5 a.m. 222 Espanola Way, Miami Beach.

Keep Miami New Times Free... Since we started Miami New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Miami, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
