If you've driven down I-95 in the past few days, then you've been invited to a beat-freaking Dayglow party.
It seems the Committee Entertainment crew is getting superserious. And they're doing absolutely everything (including buying a huge Interstate billboard) to make sure the next local installment of its Dayglow Tour, Life in Color, will be bigger and badder than ever.
The Committee's even moved the paint-spraying rave to the Miami Beach Convention Center and hired Swedish progressive house stunner Alesso to set the soundtrack.
What started as a college campus phenomenon in 2006 has become a worldwide affair. Since Dayglow's last local bash at the Bank United Center, the Committee has toured the world from London to Melbourne.
We're just talking about an undeniable, primitive impulse. Like, who doesn't loves dancing all night, half-naked and covered in glow paint? Yes, you're damn right Miami likes to get down and dirty in the colored sticky-icky.
So let's break out our throw-away white shorts and tanks, then get there early enough to catch sets from Turkish house DJ Deniz Koyu and Dayglow regular David Solano.
Oh, and don't be afraid to take a little paint to the face.
