County Grind Splits Off From Crossfade

If Crossfade is looking a little lighter this morning it's because it had some surgery last night. We are pleased to announce South Florida now has two music blogs for the best source of everything music and nightlife related happening around our area. Our sister paper, New Times Broward-Palm Beach, has spun out of Crossfade with its new blog County Grind with the best coverage of everything music-wise in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Music editor Reed Fischer will be taking the lead, along with a slew of contributors who know plenty about what's happening.

Crossfade's focus will now turn to covering everything Miami-Dade, with our paper's music editor Arielle Castillo still in the driver seat.

Also, you can follow County Grind and Fischer on Twitter @CountyGrind, and if you weren't aware Crossfade is @Crossfade_SFL.
