Mexican alt-rockers Cafe Tacuba present their fans with Un Viaje (A Journey), a live two-disc/DVD chronicling their fifteen years in the game. For those who haven’t experienced them live, this is a chance to witness their pleasantly anarchic sound and onstage antics, while the ever-so-animated, raspy-voiced Sizu Yantra chants along with the crowd on classics such as “La Ingrata” and “Chilanga Banda.” Whereas the first disc basically builds up the momentum with baladas rockeras, including songs from their most recent LP, Cuatro Caminos, the second disc is bursting with the signature hyperactive ranchera/punk hybrids that earned them recognition as one of the most fun and innovative acts in any language.
