After more than a decade of on-and-off collaborations, solo successes, and a recent Grammy nomination, Brandy and Monica are officially bringing The Boy Is Mine Tour to Florida. The newly announced dates include stops in Tampa, Jacksonville, and a much-anticipated Miami show.

The announcement follows a cinematic trailer released last month, which sets the stage for the tour with an action film narrative: Brandy and Monica are seen escaping from a maximum-sound-security prison using their "forbidden" harmonies. The mini-movie, directed by Ethan Tobman (whose credits include work with Beyoncé and Ariana Grande), ends with Brandy's voice asking, "Are you ready?" as Monica answers:" I've been ready." The tension is evident, and the tour promises to be equally theatrical.

"This really is a full-circle moment," says Brandy in an official press release. "Monica and I coming together again isn't just about the music — it's about honoring where we came from and how far we've both come. 'The Boy Is Mine' was a defining chapter in R&B, and to share the stage all these years later is bigger than a reunion — it's a celebration of growth, sisterhood, and the love our fans have given us from day one."
Tickets for the Miami show go on sale today. The tour, which covers 27 cities across the U.S., kicks off October 16 in Cincinnati and concludes December 14 in Jacksonville.

Originally teased during an appearance on CBS Mornings, this is the first time the two award-winning artists have embarked on a co-headlining tour. It comes on the heels of their 2024 Grammy-nominated remix of "The Boy Is Mine" with Ariana Grande, a full-circle moment more than 25 years after their original collaboration topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 consecutive weeks.

Joining Brandy and Monica on tour are special guests Kelly Rowland, Muni Long, and American Idol winner Jamal Roberts. The lineup spans generations of R&B talent, further cementing this tour as one of the most anticipated live events of the year.

According to a joint Instagram post that the duo made yesterday, fans asked for the three dates to be added "Florida Babyyy… We heard you and We Love You," reads the caption. So the question is: Are you ready?. We sure are.
