Although many people were introduced to Belle and Sebastian in the early 2000s thanks to a satirical moment in High Fidelity, indie pop lovers had already been spinning the Scottish band's records since 1996, when not one but two of their early albums dropped. Next year marks 30 years since the release of Tigermilk and If You're Feeling Sinister, and to celebrate, the band will perform both albums in full during a series of two-night stands across the UK, EU, US, Canada, and Mexico.
Miami, however, will only get one night, May 17 at the Knight Concert Hall, where they'll perform their seminal sophomore album. Tickets go on pre-sale tomorrow, Wednesday, August 20, at 10 a.m. local time, with a Spotify Fans First exclusive on Thursday and general sale beginning Friday at the same time.
Belle and Sebastian have remained active over the years, most recently releasing Late Developers in 2023, but Tigermilk and If You're Feeling Sinister remain their cult-defining works, featured in countless “greatest of all time” lists.
If you're feeling nostalgic and craving a night of soft melodies and sharp lyricism, this is your chance to celebrate aging gracefully.
