File this one under: Some of the worst news you’ll hear today. The Beastie Boys concert, scheduled for October 8 at Bayfront Park Ampthitheater, has been canceled. Adam Yauch, aka “MCA” was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his salivary gland, which requires immediate treatment. The Beastie Boys have canceled all of its tour dates as well as the release of “Hot Sauce Committee Part 1”. Check out the video on the Beastie Boys’ web site to hear Yauch’s explanation of his condition and apology for having to cancel the tour.
