Chicago hard house DJ Bad Boy Bill knows how to keep the party moving. His wildly successful Bangin the Box series draws heavily on his hip-hop background as he cuts up raucous party tracks. “My DJ style originated with the idea to remix a song live with two copies of the same record and then combine scratching and hip-hop techniques with house grooves,” he says.

Live, Bad Boy Bill is equally entertaining, and he knows how to replicate the same quick-style techniques he displays on his mix CDs. Not that his skills were ever in question: DJ magazine called him one of dance music’s top 100 DJs, and this year BPM magazine named him the number-one DJ in the world.
