The Summer Spin Series (hosted by Gryphon Nightclub and New Times) kicked off on July 24 with DJ Maximus 3000, DJ Alej Varez, and DJ Igi squaring off in an open format competition for a chance to play at the finals on October 16. DJ Alej Varez took home top honors in a close vote over DJ Igi, who did an admirable job playing at a professional club for his first time.
Alej is the first DJ confirmed to play at Gryphon on October 16 for the Summer Spin Series Finals. Round two of the SSS takes place on August 21 starting at 10:30 p.m. with free admission and an open bar for everyone from 10:30 until midnight.
