Get ready for the Heat’s return to Miami for the NBA Finals’ Game 2 tonight by listening to Broward’s own Ace Hood and “Elite,” his tribute to El Fuego.
The video consists of a bunch of playoff highlights (and at 27 seconds in, a glimpse of Ace at this year’s Best of the Best festival) while Hood raps over Future’s “Same Damn Time.”
Maybe unlike Ace, you don’t have two chicks at the same damn time. Or you and Lil Wayne aren’t on the floor at the same damn time. Even so, it’s still the perfect music for throwing chalk in front of the TV, if you don’t mind sneezing and dust busting at the same damn time.
Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $16,750 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
Check out the video after the cut.
No word on if Ace and Wayne will be high-fiving the Thunder at the same damn time. Like Weezy did with the Red Sox after they crushed the Marlins earlier this week, as happens to the Marlins all the damn time.
