-- Thousands of people, well tens of thousands, were led on a five-block march spearheaded by Gloria Estefan on Calle Ocho. Pitbull came out to support Gloria in full effect. Telling NBC that "hopefully in everyone coming together, we can make a difference." The event was a march in support of Las Damas de Blanco (Ladies in White), a group of wives and mothers of jailed Cuban relatives, who were attacked and hauled away in buses by Cuban police on March 17. The event was important for the continued rally of bringing freedom to Cuba and its people. [NBC Miami]
