  • Score Nightclub

1437 Washington Ave., Miami Beach South Beach

    305-535-1111

Adonis is in the house, South Beach style. Good luck getting past the attitude, though. Since its inception Score has been the epicenter of the well-coifed and tightly muscled set, and it can be tough to break into those tight-knit cliques, though things get looser as the night goes on.

Satin shirts and gold chains abound in this Latin disco joint in West Miami. Of course the top three buttons of all those shirts are left undone; that's the way the hot papis and spicy mamis here like it.

  • Trade

1439 Washington Ave., Miami Beach South Beach

    305-531-6666

Thanks to the Magic City's porous earth and position right at sea level, it's a scientific fact that Miami is one of the toughest places in America to get underground. There's a reason no one has a basement around here, folks. South Florida's musical underground, however, is a very different beast, and we're happy to report it's alive and well and ruled by benevolent overlords named Link/Miami Rebels. True EDM animals who've graduated from festival-ready anthems know that this party crew brings the best in progressive, deep, and techie house music that real fans want to hear. And their latest home base, which is not literally underground owing to the aforementioned geological restrictions, is called Trade. The SoBe spot is booked solid with rare and exciting acts across all groovy styles played on a luxurious dance floor under state-of-the-art lighting. With 7,500 square feet of space, Trade prides itself on being highly versatile, with heavy emphasis on a rich, full sound. From the bar to the system, the place was designed with a full-sensory dance experience in mind. It's not exactly Mammoth Caves, but for the 305 underground experience, Trade is the place to be.

The mix of locals, visitors, models, and bottle service provide a fine ambiance that is quickly garnering the Treehouse a solid reputation on the party circuit.

  • Twist

1057 Washington Ave., Miami Beach South Beach

    305-538-9478

A mainstay on Washington Avenue for over 15 years, Twist is the mother hen of South Beach gay clubs. Inside the spacious club you'll find seven different bars; a tiki bar, something called a "Frolic Lounge," a salsa room in the bottom floor, and a house music dance floor at the top. Still one of the few places where you can find go-go dancers at midnight on the beach, Twist is open seven days a week from 1 p.m. to 5 a.m. It's conveniently located near the popular 12th Street gay beach, and the 11th Street diner where Will Smith's "Miami" was shot.
