Firito Taco & Bocce

Firito Taco is restauranteur Alfredo Patino's third restaurant and his second on 79th Street. It's a neighborhood he's betting on. He moved there a few years ago and in 2014 opened the no-frills bar Tap 79, serving a slate of local suds and smart pub grub like crisp saffron risotto balls. Firito steps up with equally assertive flavors like a punchy al pastor with strong notes of charred pineapple and chipotle. Patino is planning a third place for the area, but in the meantime, you'll be plenty busy working your way through the lineup of ten tacos.
