Management curates musical performances by major indie-acts, or rents out the space for corporate events. It also houses Luis Perez Galeria, which showcases paintings and other artwork; and Acustronic, a music label and production studio.
This historic theater in Overtown was once a famous stop on the black vaudeville circuit, showcasing top talent in the early 1900s. Currently under renovation, it will reopen to a host of new shows and performances in 2014. Plus, it’s on the National Register of Historic Places, so you know it’s got serious historical cred.
