The South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF) returns today, February 19, and runs through Sunday, February 22, for its milestone 25th anniversary. From unforgettable moments over the past 25 years to events you can’t miss, this year’s lineup is packed with more events than ever.
With so many events to choose from this weekend, including these intimate dinners with world-renowned chefs, New Times has put together a list of the events you can’t miss. From brunches to wild late-night parties with popular chefs from the Food Network and beyond, here’s your must-attend list in chronological order (Thursday through Sunday). Thursday, February 19 – Asian Night Market hosted by Jet Tila and Aarti Sequeira
Starting on Thursday with a late-night event full of flavors, the Loews Miami Beach Hotel transforms into a vibrant Asian Night Market. Hosted by Food Network’s Jet Tila and Aarti Sequeira, the menu features a variety of bites, including sizzling dumplings, ramen, satay skewers, bao buns, sushi, and crispy spring rolls. Friday, February 20 – Let Them Eat Cake! A Sweet Celebration of 25 Years
For the sweetest event in the entire SOBEWFF line-up, Let Them Eat Cake will feature whimsical cakes, imaginative desserts, and decadent sweet creations, crafted by Miami’s most popular pastry shops. Hosted by Duff Goldman, the pastry chef and star of Food Network’s Ace of Cakes, this event is a chance to toast the festival’s milestone year. Friday, February 20 – Cigars & Spirits
Guy Fieri’s classic Cigars & Spirits, presented by Cigar Aficionado, is a great alternative for those who don’t have a sweet tooth. This late-night soirée has unparalleled flavors and aromas of premium cigars, paired with a selection of rich bourbons, whiskies, and scotches.
