Amid the hustle, bustle, crowds, and Miami heat of the Calle Ocho festival, I ducked into an open storefront yesterday and took an ice cream break. Teresita Tutti Frutti, owner of Tutti Frutti Ice Cream, took a minute to talk about the business. Her store is in the heart of Little Havana, so no surprise she spoke Spanish. But her store speaks the universal language of clean. Check out her inspection report for a random “routine-food” inspection from January 12. Tutti Frutti got zero violations, so if you’re ever looking for some so fresh and so clean ice cream on Eighth Street, then you already know where to go, Tutti Frutti.
