Truluck’s Seafood, Steak and Crabhouse, 777 Brickell is now open. Head over for the daily so called cocktail hour, which lasts from 4 until 7 p.m. and runs all day on Sunday. There are half-price cocktails and appetizers along with 25 percent off all bottles of wine. There’s also seafood, steak and crab sliders regularly priced at $13, for only $6.50. And sip on a pomegranate martini for just $5.50, compared to $11, in a relaxing but sophisticated setting.
“Upon entering, Truluck’s tantalizes the senses,” says Todd Alley, a flack who represents the place. “Imported marble flooring, onyx bar tops, and a back bar showcasing a wine keeper system, luxurious mahogany millwork, rich leather booths, white‑glazed ceramic tile, and brick combine to give the restaurant a timeless, classic feel. Textured walls, cove lighting, and decorative fixtures impart a warm and inviting golden hue.”
Dinner is served from 5 to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sunday. There are weekly specials such as Monday nights “all-you-can-eat Main Jonah Crab” and the nightly “Date Night Menu” which includes soup or salad, and entree and a shared dessert all for just $35 per person.
Truluck’s even accommodates private parties in the Hemingway Room, which can hold about 28 guests. There is a valet service for $7, and also free parking. The lunch menu will be served starting November 1 (That’s right, next week) at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. Call 305-579-0035.
