Café Bastille, the French-inspired all-day café known for its croissants, benedicts, and specialty lattes, is expanding once again. The new location, opening soon at 1660 Market St. in Weston Town Center, will mark the brand’s fourth in South Florida and its second in Broward County. No opening date has been announced, but fans on TikTok and Instagram are already ecstatic over the news.
The Weston restaurant follows the success of Café Bastille’s downtown Miami flagship, its Miami Beach outpost, and its Fort Lauderdale café (one of the 13 Best Breakfast Spots in Fort Lauderdale), which opened near the Riverwalk District in late 2023. Founders Estelle and Benjamin Bellegy, originally from France, launched the all-day restaurant in 2018 to bring a bit of Parisian brunch culture to South Florida.

Café Bastille’s menu stretches far beyond croissants and coffee. Expect a lineup that includes truffle croque madame, steak and eggs, and the café’s best-selling stuffed Nutella French toast. Sweet dishes range from pistachio pancakes to dulce de leche French toast and crispy brioche topped with berries and butter whipped cream.
For savory choices, the Benedict section offers options such as turkey brie, smoked salmon, and chicken Milanese variations, all served on croissants. Omelets come filled with combinations like spinach and feta or smoked salmon and truffle oil. The menu also features sandwiches made on toasted brioche or Jerusalem bagels, salads, and protein bowls for those seeking a lighter meal.
Pastry lovers will find the brand’s popular baked goods, made with French Isigny butter, including almond croissants, pain au chocolat, and crème brûlée croissant cubes. The café also offers a rotating selection of cookies, monkey bread, and other housemade sweets.

Drinks That Match the Picturesque Vibe
Coffee is at the heart of the Café Bastille experience. The drinks list includes espresso, cappuccino, and iced coffee, alongside specialty options such as the pistachio latte, strawberry matcha latte, and French toast cappuccino, topped with whipped cream and brown sugar. Also available are a range of smoothies, such as “Açaí Miami,” and cold-pressed juices, like “Kicker,” made with kale, celery, pineapple, and apple.
While details for Weston’s setup have not yet been released, the brand’s other locations feature indoor seating, shaded patios, and relaxed music that transitions from quiet weekday mornings to livelier weekend brunch crowds. The Weston site is expected to follow suit, giving locals a new destination for all-day breakfast, coffee breaks, and afternoon gatherings.
In six years, Café Bastille has grown from a single café in downtown Miami to one of South Florida’s most popular brunch names. The Weston Town Center opening will bring that formula westward, introducing the café’s croissants, tartines, and pistachio pancakes to a new crowd of regulars.
