The Island Bistro opens this Friday, September 13, bringing Panther coffee and fresh-baked goods to Brickell Key.
The restaurant is located in the Courvoisier Center at 605 Brickell Key Dr. in the former Fabien’s space, which was renovated to include a new “to go” coffee bar — perfect for the rush of morning office-goers looking for a good caffeine fix.
The Island Bistro will offer Panther coffee exclusively, and you can get your morning beverage (or afternoon pick-me-up) in the form of an Americano ($3), espresso ($4), cortadito ($4), macchiato ($4), cappuccino ($5), or cold brew (12-ounce $4 and 16-ounce $5). To ensure the highest quality, the coffee drinks will be made and served by baristas from Panther.
Freshly baked breads, pastries, croissants, turnovers, cookies, and fresh fruit will be offered on a menu of bites that changes daily.
Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $17,250 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
The Island Bistro is also taking the coffee theme one step further with Panther-coffee-rubbed steaks and coffee-infused cocktails for dinner.
Although the Island Bistro won’t open until Friday, it’s offering a very neighborly introduction. Beginning today, September 10, through Thursday, September 12, stop in from 7 to 11 a.m. and enjoy free mini coffees, espressos, and fresh pastries.
The Island Bistro opens at 7 a.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday, and is closed Sunday.
