Eating out is fantastic but unless your are ingesting poison from the fast food industry, it can be prohibitively expensive. While Miami Spice succeeds in making our most luxurious restaurants “affordable” for a couple months, it does nothing to address the limited access Miamians have to quality food at reasonable prices.

Soyka serves a wide array of American comfort food and has always maintained a solid reputation for delivering good food at truly sensible prices. They have gone even a step further in the value chain with an Italian menu served only on Mondays. Patrons can dine on large plates of their Italian favorites for only $10. They can choose from various types of pasta and pizzas as well as meat lasagna and both chicken and eggplant parmesan.

The proprietor and Miami legend, Mark Soyka explained that his impetus for introducing this special night was that a lot of locals and their families frequent Soyka. He wanted to create something different and ethnic on a slow night of the week. He came up with Italian Mondays and charged ridiculously reasonable prices so his customers and their families could enjoy great Italian food.

Mondays can be quite manic so here is a nice way to unwind with large quantities of comfort Italian food. Manager Bryan Sanchez shared that there is no reason to pay exorbitant prices for awesome Italian food. The menu includes $6 glasses of Italian wine and a beautiful $5 cannoli plate. Everything, even the sauces are all freshly made in house. Just do not wait too long to swing by, because Italiano Mondays are only around for a limited time.
