Vinya Table, which was one of New Times‘ 22 Best Coral Gables Restaurants, has quietly closed on Miracle Mile. The wine-focused bistro shuttered its Coral Gables location at 266 Miracle Mile in late December 2025. Owner and sommelier Allegra Angelo confirmed the closure, noting the decision allows the team to shift focus rather than exit the brand entirely.
“After five years on Miracle Mile, we’ve decided to close our Coral Gables location to focus on new opportunities and our online business,” Angelo tells New Times. “This isn’t a goodbye; it’s simply a toast to what’s next.”
The restaurant and wine bar’s Key Biscayne location remains open.

A Short but Visible Run on Miracle Mile
Vinya Table opened on Miracle Mile in 2022 as an expansion of Vinya’s Key Biscayne concept. The Coral Gables outpost leaned further into a full-service restaurant model, pairing Mediterranean-leaning modern American food with a sommelier-driven wine program.
The space combined dining, a full bar, and a retail wall, allowing guests to select bottles from the shelves to drink on-site or take home. The restaurant sat next to the longtime Italian staple, Fratellino Ristorante, in a stretch of Miracle Mile that has seen steady turnover in recent years.

What Vinya Table Was Known For
Vinya Table developed a following for its expansive wine list, curated by Angelo, which included over 1,000 selections across various regions and styles, alongside more than 40 wines available by the glass. The list emphasized terroir-driven producers and lesser-seen regions, making it a destination for wine-focused diners.
The food menu leaned Mediterranean, built around small plates, pasta, seafood, and meat dishes designed to pair with wine. Dishes like jamón, patatas bravas, grilled baby artichokes, and lamb baklava became staples.

A Shift Back to Key Biscayne
While the Coral Gables location has closed, Vinya continues to operate Vinya Wine & Market on Key Biscayne. That location functions as a wine shop, bar and restaurant, and remains the brand’s primary brick-and-mortar presence.
“This isn’t a goodbye,” Angelo said. “Our guests can still visit us at our shop and wine bar in Key Biscayne. The spirit of Vinya moves forward.”
As of now, the former Vinya Table space on Miracle Mile appears vacant. No replacement tenant has been announced.
