Independent Journalism in Miami Needs You
We need to raise $10,000 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
It’s a classic professional’s dilemma: Your clients want to grab a fancy lunch that could take half the day, but you’ve got a budget and looming deadlines. Atrio Restaurant + Wine Room at Conrad Miami aims to solve that conundrum with an express prix fixe that will still leave your clients feeling like they’re the only ones on your mind.
The restaurant recently launched its new business menu, Taste of Time, which has diners in and out in 45 minutes or the meal is free. The spot blends a stylish setting with tasty cuisine that not only arrives in a timely manner but also comes with the kind of upscale service that clients love and panoramic views of Miami enjoyed by out-of-towners and locals alike. Atrio will even place an hourglass timed to 45 minutes on the table so you don’t have to check your watch.
The three-course gourmet lunch is inspired by executive chef Virgile Brandel’s personal favorites and experiences. Brandel’s inspiration comes from cooking in his native France and using farm-fresh ingredients handpicked from local surroundings.
Menu items will change regularly. Diners this week can expect items such as avocado and citrus salad with ginger lemongrass dressing; crisp pork belly with red quinoa and kale; and grilled red snapper fillet with sweet plantain “mofongo” and carrot-cucumber pear salsa. For dessert, Atrio is offering its smooth and indulgent mango panna cotta tartlet with coconut pearls.
The Taste of Time business lunch menu is available Monday through Friday and includes a choice between two appetizers, two entrées, and a dessert for $23 plus tax and gratuity. Valet parking is complimentary.
