It’s official — Miss Yip and Buck 15 have moved out of 1661 Meridian Ave. A visit to the restaurant Saturday confirmed that both Yip and upstairs lounge Buck 15 have vacated.
Rumors began circulating a month ago that Miss Yip was either closing or relocating. The restaurant continued to operate through March and into April, despite eviction rumors.
A recorded message at the restaurant states, “Miss Yip will be moving to 437 Lincoln Rd. and will be open for dining on Wednesday, April 20.”
Buck 15, the lounge located above Yip, confirmed the new location on its Facebook page, though the proposed site at 437 Lincoln Rd. has no signage to indicate either Miss Yip or Buck 15 will open soon.
The 437 Lincoln Rd. site was formerly the Vendome clothing store, which is now located on the corner of Lincoln Road and Drexel Avenue.
