Miami’s Best Eats and Drinks This Week: Mistletoe Bliss and Inaugural Wynwood Comedy Festival

It’s a busy week with the holidays ahead and parties to attend. But if you need a break, head to Deck 16 at the Hyatt Centric South Beach for its Mistletoe Bliss cocktail, with proceeds benefitting charity. On Tuesday, try STK’s specialty dessert designed for the season. Shots and Comic Cure are teaming up to host the inaugural Wynwood Comedy Festival on Wednesday night. End the week with a bayfront dinner at Soho Bay with its newest “Sunset” menu now available.

Monday 

Mistletoe Bliss at Deck 16 at Hyatt Centric South Beach
Give back this holiday season by drinking a Mistletoe Bliss, a seasonal cocktail where $1 from each sold will benefit Voices for Children Foundation’s Guardian ad Litem Program. The cocktail is made with Bailey’s Irish Cream, Myers rum, and peach liqueur. It will be available through the end of the year.

Tuesday 

Dessert at STK Miami
Celebrate the holidays with a white chocolate creme at STK. Inspired by warm, winter flavors, the specialty dessert is made with creamy white chocolate, spice cake, cranberry compote, and gingerbread ice cream. It’s $12 and offered through the end of December. 

Wednesday 

Wynwood Comedy Festival at Shots
Shots and Comic Cure partnered up to create and host the inaugural Wynwood Comedy Festival, with performances by acclaimed comedians Richy Leis, Jamal Hattar, Francisco Duran, Willous Hatcher, and more. Guests will have the chance to pick the best comedian in Miami, and a portion of the proceeds will go towards a local nonprofit organization. Door open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 online and $20 at the door. Purchase tickets at eventbrite.com.

Thursday 

Sunset Menu at Soho Bay
Enjoy a ten-under-$10 menu at Soho Bay with the latest iteration of its “Sunset” menu. A full array of Japanese-inspired dishes such as salmon yuki on crispy rice, shishito peppers, and robata boniato paired with cocktails like a pear or lychee martini are offered. The menu is offered every night, even Christmas Eve.
