Today, home cooks across Miami-Dade County are checking every ingredient, from the turkey to the thyme, to ensure they’re not rushing through the aisles at 9 p.m. in search of the last can of pumpkin purée. However, let’s be honest: even the most organized Miami host can forget something crucial. Maybe you’re missing stuffing mix. Maybe your pie plan hinged on an extra can of pumpkin. Maybe someone just now told you they’re gluten-free. Whatever the crisis, a handful of grocery stores across Miami will be open on Thanksgiving to save the day.

- CVS: Most locations open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Walgreens: Most locations closed; 24-hour stores remain open.
- Continental Rx: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Capsule: Closed. (Black Friday hours: Noon to 6 p.m.; one delivery window from 6–9 p.m.)
- University Pharmacy: Closed Thanksgiving Day and Friday, November 28.
