In 1968 The Berkowitz family opened their first seafood restaurant. That was in Cambridge, Mass. Legal Seafood is now a big franchise with locations in Sunrise, West Palm, and Boca and they are declaring January 20th a “Legal Holiday.” So when you go in there and buy an entree you get a 44 cent cup of clam chowder. Wow, a 44 cent cup of clam chowder, truly democratic, not a bowl, not without purchase of an entree, just a cup, if you’re already buying a meal.
