Reader support matters more than ever

Short Order was floored when we received an email alert from The South Florida Gourmet, stating that Joel Huff was replacing Jamie DeRosa at Tudor House. We contacted both Tudor House’s PR rep and executive chef Jamie DeRosa himself.
“Absolutely not true!” said Jaret Keller of public relations firm Key Group Worldwide. DeRosa simply texted “news to me.”
Tudor House, located in the Dream South Beach hotel, is about to celebrate their first anniversary in July with a special dinner series featuring five chefs from five restaurants co-hosting special events with executive chef Jamie DeRosa.
Short Order has reached out to South Florida Gourmet for comment and will update readers with a response. Eater posted the same information, linking to the SFG post, then pulled it.
Update: South Florida Gourmet responded to our inquiry, stating that their source was reliable, but based on the PR statement they would remove the piece from their site.
